Wie Wij Zijn
IWS was founded by Getenet Tadesse, whose personal journey—from refugee to community leader—forms the foundation of our vision.
After his UNHCR resettlement in the Netherlands, Getenet rebuilt his life through education, work, and years of dedication to newcomers in Friesland. His experience includes:

job coaching and workplace guidance

support for asylum seekers and status holders

volunteering at the Red Cross

advisory work for IOM Netherlands

leadership within migrant communities

HRM studies and experience in the social domain
These experiences made one thing clear: newcomers need culturally sensitive guidance, and organizations need support to work effectively with diverse teams.
